Fasting is forbidden

On this day, Islam forbids Muslims to fast. Because a festival in which not all members of the nation participate equally cannot be called a national festival. Hazrat Abu Udayd (RA) narrated that once on the day of Eid-ul-Azha I was present with Hazrat Umar (RA). He started the day of Eid with prayers. Then he gave a sermon. He said in his sermon, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbidding fasting for two days.” The day of Eid-ul-Fitr is a day to break your fast and a day of joy for Muslims. And on the day of Eid al-Adha, you will eat the flesh of your sacrifice. (Sunan Abu Dawood: 2418, Sahih Ibn Khuzaima: 2959, As-Sunanul Kubra: 6249).

Sadaqatul Fitr

Islam has made Sadaqatul Fitr obligatory on the able-bodied to make Eid-ul-Fitr universal. Because you need money to buy new clothes, good food, perfume, etc. for Eid. On this day, there is a provision to help the poor people of the society. Those whose daily life goes on in need and pain. That is why Islam has made Sadaqatul Fitr obligatory on the able-bodied. And it has been declared a right of the poor. So that the poor people do not lose the expression of the soul in the joy of Eid as a helpless consumer of the kindness or grace of others. 6438).

Salatul Eid

A great element of Eid’s joy is Salatul Eid.

On this day, in the early hours of the morning, all the people of the area gathered in the open field and stood behind the same Imam, rich and poor, big and small, in the same row and performed the obligatory prayers of two Rak ‘ats. Allah used to show the angels gathered at the Edgar and say to the angels, look at my angels! My servants have gathered to pray for them, describing my greatness at the end of observing my provision (fasting in the month of Ramadan).

I swear by my old age and greatness! I will grant all their prayers. Then Allah addressed all the worshipers together and said, “Go back. I have forgiven you all your sins and changed your sins into good deeds.” (Bayhaqi-Shuabul Iman: 3444, Fazailul Awqat: 155, Ahadisul Qudsiyah: 16).
